Editorial and catalog policy
A font directory is useful only when visitors can tell which details are verified, which are inferred, and what still needs checking.
Catalog metadata
File format, size, family grouping, and available styles are derived from the catalog record and downloadable files. Automated classification may suggest a category or use case, but it is presented as discovery guidance rather than a statement from the original font designer.
License labels
A category name or file location is not treated as license proof. When reliable license metadata is unavailable, the page is labeled “Check License” and users are asked to review the included license text before personal, client, product, or commercial use.
Editorial guides
Public guides must contain a clear selection method, practical comparisons, relevant font examples, and useful next steps. Draft guides and unresolved recommendation lists are excluded from search indexing until their publication checks pass.
Advertising independence
Advertising helps fund hosting and maintenance. An advertiser does not receive a better license label, category, recommendation rank, or editorial conclusion merely because it buys an ad.
Corrections and rights reports
Visitors, designers, and rights holders can report incorrect metadata, licensing concerns, broken files, or ownership issues. Reports should include the exact font URL and supporting context so the listing can be reviewed or disabled where appropriate.
How to report an issue
Use the contact form for corrections and the DMCA and copyright page for rights-related reports. This policy was last reviewed on July 23, 2026.
